New MP3 Site

It's been a while since any new sites popped up and now we've got two at once.

The new sites are Payplay and Mediasack.

So why am I telling you about them? Well they are a bit different from the others on here. First off, Mediasack. The site offers both music and movies, which is a first! So if you're after films too, Mediasack might be the one for you. One place to top up, one place to download from. Sounds awesome! Then we have Payplay. The site just offers mp3s and they are a little more expensive than others sites, at 20¢. However, their music library is far larger than anyone else's, with over 5,407,300 tracks. So if you love you're music, really love your music, then Payplay might be worth a look. With that many tracks, they are likely to have more unusual stuff, remixes, specials and all that jazz.

You can read more about both sites and leave your own comments in the full reviews of them:

More music on mp3va

After a mp3 download site with loads of music? Well MP3va could be for you.

The site has just had an incredible 10tb of music injected into it, making it one of the largest we review here at

This new batch of music includes both old and new stuff, so there really is something for everyone on this site.

But that's not all, the site has been redesigned and looks better than ever. They might not be as big a iTunes, but it won't be long before they are at this rate!

Check out the site for yourself here: MP3va.

GoMusicNow - down again?

GoMusicNow - one of our least favourite sites - is down again. Again? What are you doing gomusicnow?

This seems to happen far too often for our liking, which is precisely why we do not recommend them.

The site has lots of down time, it's changed name various times over the years, people have lost money on the site and a whole host of other problems.

Our advice? Avoid avoid avoid. Who knows when the site will be back up, if at all. It's not uncommon for them to buy a new name and move the website, leaving all the old customers behind.

There are a million websites to download cheap music, check out our comparison page for a list of the best, reliable ones.

Download music for 12¢ a track

MP3Caprice are one of the cheapest sites, offering mp3 downloads for just 12¢ each.

This makes them one of the cheapest sites to download music from. But one thing that really sets MP3Caprice apart from the competition is their minimum top up amount.

Most of the sites we review here require you to top up your account with money and then you use that balance to buy songs until it runs out. So if you're only after a few albums, you won't want this minimum amount to be too high.

That's where MP3Caprice come in. They have the lowest minimum top up of all the sites reviewed here, at just $10.00. Compare this to MP3Mixx $30.00 and it seems very appealing.

This is enough for 10 albums on average. And this credit doesn't expire. Ever. So if you only want an album or two now, your credit will still be there if you ever want to download more albums or songs.

Check out MP3Caprice for yourself, the site is expanding all the time, so if you can't find anything you want to download now, check back later for new additions!

Goodbye MP3Skyline

You can a massive bonus of $120 if you play your cards right! So what do you have to do to get the deal?Well, MP3 Panda is a top up site, so you need to add money to your balance in order to download any music to start with. Get Half-Price Albums

MP3Million are a great site for offers, deals and bonuses so it's no surprise that they are offering every album on their site for half it's usual price at the moment.

So if you've got a new iPod and need to fill it with music, or just want to make the most of this offer, make sure you've topped up your MP3Million account and download as many albums as you can during the offer period!

GoMusicNow & GoMusic

GoMusicNow and GoMusic, two of my very least favourite sites, are down yet again and have been for a few days now. This doesn't bold well for them. They might be cheap, but if we can't access the site, then we don't want to use them!

If you've put money on recently, we can just hope that the site returns soon. If you were thinking of using them... DON'T! They have a very bad reputation for constantly being down, having payment problems, not answering emails and a whole host of other issues that they never seem to fix!

Our recommendation? Use another site. MP3va and MP3Million are two other sites that are a million times better; they are always reliable, don't change their prices every two days and have problems once a year at most! They can be trusted with your money and won't do a runner like a lot of these cheap sites have done before.

Check back for more info on the GoMusic and GoMusicNow problem soon.

MP3 Panda Prices

Unfortunately, MP3Panda has now closed down. But there are plenty of other mp3 sites to download from, check out some of our favorites on our reviews page.

MP3 Panda are playing around with their prices again, and have raised them from 5¢ to 20¢. This seems bad, but it still makes them a whole lot cheaper than iTunes and the other big sites, so we shouldn't grumble too much. Just wish they would pick a price and stick to it!
